│ POLICY STATEMENT │
└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
SWAG (SourceWare Archival Group) is a collection of source code and program
examples for the PASCAL programming language. The material has been donated
by various PASCAL programmers from around the world, who desire to
contribute to the advancement of one of the greatest programming languages
there is. SWAG packets are available in 56 different categories covering
EVERY aspect of the PASCAL language, and ALL ABSOLUTELY FREE !!!
┌─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│THE MATERIAL IN SWAG IS DISTRIBUTED UNDER THE FAIR USE PROVISIONS OF THE │
│COPYRIGHT CODE OF THE UNITED STATES, CANADA AND OTHER COUNTRIES. ANY │
│COMMERCIAL USE OF THE MATERIAL CONTAINED IN SWAG WITHOUT THE EXPRESS │
│WRITTEN PERMISSION OF THE AUTHOR MAY BE A VIOLATION OF COPYRIGHT. │
└─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
It is the intention and purpose of SWAG to be a LEARNING, TEACHING,
HELPING, TUTORIAL and SUPPORT aid for the PASCAL programming community.
SWAG does NOT intend to be a distribution channel for shareware programs or
code, but rather a PASCAL library of information, code examples and help
for beginner and advanced programmers alike. NO COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL IS
PERMITTED EXCEPT WITH THE EXPRESS PERMISSION OF THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR. We
obtain the material from the various PC conference networks, an we make
EVERY attempt to make sure that the material contains the contributors name
and any copyright information therein.
┌─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│WE SINCERELY MAKE EVERY ATTEMPT TO ADHERE TO THIS POLICY, and IF ANYONE │
│(the original author) OBJECTS TO MATERIAL THAT HAS BEEN INCLUDED IN SWAG,│
│IT WILL BE REMOVED WITHOUT QUESTION OR OBJECTION. │
└─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
NO CHANGES ARE MADE TO THE MATERIAL, AND WE MAKE NO PROMISES OR GUARANTEES
WITH RESPECT TO THE MATERIAL IN SWAG.
WE DO CHECK THE MATERIAL FOR CONTENT, BUT WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS THAT
THE CODE WILL WORK PROPERLY FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
SWAG is NOT a commercial enterprise of ANY SORT !! No charge of any kind is
permitted for the material, and even the support sites MAY NOT charge for
the privilege of downloading the material. NO ONE INVOLVED WITH SWAG
receives ONE CENT from it's production or distribution.
With respect the SWAG material, there are no guarantees, either expressed
or implied, as to either merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose.
In the original release, there were approximately 500 snipets that DID NOT
HAVE contributors names attached to them. If you are the author of one of
these items, we would LIKE TO PLACE YOU NAME ON IT. Please leave a message
indicating the SWAG item, and we'll be pleased to correct this in the next
release of SWAG.
SWAG has been VERY SUCCESSFUL, and we have received many kind comments from
users ALL OVER THE WORLD. We want to again thank the MANY contributors to
SWAG without whom this just would NOT be possible. Their unselfishness and
willingness to share their ideas is what makes SWAG work.
Regards,
SWAG Support Team
